CONVENTION DETAILS: Our 2012 Convention "Connecting Language Learning to Life: Exploring Community-based and Interdisciplinary Language Opportunities" will be held at St. Michael's College on March 16, 2012. Our teacher-led sessions will showcase various projects, units of study, and partnerships that currently exist in VT in which students connect their language learning to life outside of the classroom. The presenters will share their stories and provide practical, step-by-step processes for creating similar experiences in your own school. The key-note address will be presented by Tong Chen, Vermont Teacher of the Year and Chinese teacher from Leland and Gray High School.
